CINCINNATI – Organizers for BLINK on Friday announced the live entertainment lineup for the free 20-block light and arts festival, which is scheduled to take place Oct. 12-15.

“BLINK visitors can expect everything from African dance companies to electric dance parties,” said Andrew Salzbrun, managing partner of cultural activation agency AGAR, in a news release. “Cincinnati’s musical roots are deep, and BLINK will honor them well with this downright awesome entertainment lineup.”

Salzbrun said nearly 30 artists will perform on six stages located across the festival’s 20-block span, which organizers have divided into four zones. The Freedom Center Stage is located in zone one of the festival at the Banks. The Fountain Square, Charlie Harper Mural and the St. Xavier Back Lot stages are located in zone two, which encompasses Downtown’s Central Business District. The Huetopia Stage at Elder and Logan streets and Findlay Market West Stage are located in zone four, which is the area north of Liberty Street surrounding Findlay in Over-the-Rhine.

Zone three includes Washington Park, which will be the site of the Architects of Air luminarium exhibit. BLINK also will include 21 light projects, 27 sculptures and new murals located throughout all four zones.
